I have some doubt about calculation of charge separation efficiency (ηsep).

We have carried out photoelectrochemical water oxidation with bismuth vanadate based photoanode in water, and in presence of hole scavenger Na2SO3.

from the literature we find some equations and try to calculate:

Literature 1: ηsep = Jwater / Jsulfite

Literature 2:

Jwater = Jmax x ηinj x Jsulfite

Jsulfite = Jmax x ηsep

Where

Jmax = Jtheoretical x ηabs

How to calculate Jmax and ηsep ?

from both equations we can't fit my data.
