One of the way to model two coils with mutual inductance between them is by using the T-model representation. In this case the model is achieved using self and mutual inductance without considering the turns-ratio.

The turns ratio is not explicitly considered in this case.
When you chose a representation for mutual coupled inductors, the value of n (turns ratio) influences the representation itself. In the selection of a proper definition of n there are constraints to be respected:
L1-n*M >= 0, n^2*L2-n*M >= 0 and
M/L2

Thank you very much for your answer. But as far as I knew the T-model is a general representation that can be used with any unsymmetrical two coils with mutual. It has been used in literature for unsymmetrical IPT system. Please check the attached publication.

Yes you're right but what I stated simply confirms that you can use the T-model to represent the mutual coupling between two inductors!
Actually you lose a direct correlation with the turns-ratio as conversely happens with a transformer representation.
I completely agree with you, that using T-model leads to losing the direct correlation with the turns-ratio. But its effect still exists by one way or another. My question was how this effect appears in the system. In other words, in which part in the model this effect appears?
