For a TCO film, if one determines optical mobility and electron density (from Drude theory) should it be greater or lesser than the value obtained from the Hall effect measurement and why?
Logically, As I think, electron density is light intensity dependent in case of photoconductivity, while mobility is electric field dependent. So who is larger or lesser, this depends on light intensity, sample dimensions and applied voltage.
E the electric field E=V/d V=voltage, d= dimention or distance to which voltage is applied. From quantum theory photo current (density of electron by light) is a function of light intensity, it is also depends on recombination centers density.
