How privacy issues can be addressed in the context of cloud computing policy?
Take a look at Legal requirements as mentioned above, and privacy policy statements from organizations to derive privacy requirements which then you can transform for applications.
There are many concepts which has addressed privacy issue in cloud. IDS would be one such concept which is used to preserve privacy in cloud.
I simply see the support of contemporary cipher suites by a cloud provider as the main advance to preserve the privacy of cloud users.
