Many a time agencies just after having some demonstrations at farmers field (even though), recommend or directly work for its dissemination. Shouldn't we pilot the full model/technology at representative sample agro ecology and then see its acceptance and local relevance.
Pilot is the simulation of actual in small scope. Based on the outcome corrective actions are taken to make it full proof. So, it is essential.
Absolutely essential and cannot be overlooked. Otherwise the investments made in scaling may turn infructuous!
Bidhan, I strongly suggest you do a proper pilot. It's usual to take 10% of the number of the research sample intended for your study for the pilot. Not only you check for their understanding and perhaps ask for some comments, you also check reliability of your items which is crucial for further research data evaluation.
