Well, I think it is an evolution in which teaching strategies mature, adapt and innovate, because each semester are groups with different interests and ways of thinking, also the students present different levels of prerequisites, to assume the conceptual demand of the subject, then the teacher has to propose examples adapted to each group, address their explanations in such a way to achieve the greatest possible understanding of the topics covered.
Dear Kaushik Kumar Panigrahi , very interesting and necessary discussion. I think that when the teacher puts himself in the student's place, as an apprentice, he can develop his empathy skills, certainly consider other aspects that can be improved. Whether in terms of content, procedures and even attitudes. Not only does he win, but students win and education in general is also benefited. I agree with the contributions of colleagues Chukwuemeka Paul Amadi , Sidali Selama , Wilmer Lopez , Shirshendu Roy .
In my experience (I have been teaching photography art for 3 years), it is a challenge, a big one; because each group thinks different, demands different things, and believes in different things. It implies to me to work harder, think harder in order to be one step ahead of them and what they want. As Sidali Selama said, we are a life-long learner.
Additionally i have experienced that now we have to be no only a teacher but a psychologist, a technology advanced user, a boss, a classmate, an adviser, a leader, and more...
The students are always grading us, so, for answering your questions, we have to make an extra effort every day to improve...
Hi, According to me, if you are saying Teachings is an Art, so Art is about practice and explore With daily experience. same teachers get almost new experience for every day with every student, also the situation and conditions are different for each student of every standard.Teaching is not only about the knowledge of subjects but is about how it will transform to the students. The art of transforming the knowledge is the higher skill of teacher. Apart form this we know teachers are also having challenges in their personal life, other duties than teaching, technically teacher spouse to work for only students and school but the government involves them in various works also. salary also one of the factor to Stop them to get higher or upgrade the formal education. But I dont think teachers never fail in the teaching to students, I believe they urge to develop themselves according to the demand of time.
I think this is the situation of most of the Indian gov. school teachers. And we are comparing and judging them.
Hi! I think during the real life interactions with the students in the class provides a teacher with valuable inputs to improvise their teaching techniques/arts by closely observing and understanding the learners with varied characteristics. The discussions took place in the class room also can provide ideas for the teachers to incorporate new topics relevant to the subject to incorporate in the next lessons. Thanks.
