Does anybody know, is it possible to measure p-conductivity of ZnO nanoparticles, which contains potassium ions? For bulk material it is well known. Potassium is electron donor and it creates holes into ZnO structure. ZnO/K nanoparticles might be good photocatalysts as result holes in addition to moving of electrons across Band Gap. So existence of potassium in ZnO NP can be the factor of increasing of photocatalytic activity. But it is very difficult to measure it in nanoparticles after presswork of power to tablet. It is not clear how hole can jump from one particle to another. Do you know is it possible study p-conductivity by other method, may be with UV/Vis spectrum? Thanks.
