The reason is because I strong believe is a more simple operation that my other technique of mini-cabg for the mammary to lad and also bring a faster recovery for the patients need hybrid revascularization.
Do you mean CABG with a composit graft (mammary artery+saphenous vein)? if so, i think that can be less invasive, but what about graft patency?

It is not a composite graft. The mammary stays undusturbed, It acts like the aorta or subclavian artery equvalent. It is the inflow source. I will have to review patency. The results were in my M.Chir Thesis also on my site. Thank you for your interest.
I read with great interest your papers. TRUCAB is a procedure that can be really minimally invasive for patients at high risk. I appreciate. I think it can be an interesting alternative to MIDCAB. thanks for explications.
Mini OPCABG
Is lower sternotomy off pump you can do any kind of coronary revascularization from this inscicion using both mamarys but i recomended this operation to start left internal mammary to LAD is very useful to do an hybrid procedure this is basically what are we doing in my Foundation First we do the Miniopcabg and after a period of time when you are sure the patient is not bleeding stenting .Althougth i invented both operation MIDCABG and Xiphoid )Mini OPCABG operation today i prefer the Mini OPCABG is less painful and more easy to teach to the surgeons
