I'm not sure how many of you have read the two articles posted on Nature's website earlier this year.

It seems that a large amount of science (not only biological science) provides results that cannot be reproduced.

The most obvious (and damning) accusation is dishonesty; the fabrication and falsification of data but undoubtedly there will be other factors that also play a part.

I thought it would be great to hear views from researchers and academics from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines in this regard.

Have you come across results that you could not reproduce or have ever been under pressure to publish something which wasn't entirely correct?

What do you think the main reason(s) for falsification and an inability reproduce are?
