My research field is Perovskite Solar Cells/Energy. I want to further continue my Post-Doc research after PhD. So, I would like to know the number of research papers requirement to get a good post-doc position in Europe/USA.

I guess it depend on the quality of the papers you publish. If it is a breakthrough paper in your research area, than even one paper is enough to get a good post-doc position in Europe or in the US. If it is just a contribution to the field, then 10 to 15 papers will be sufficient for a good post-doc position.
It is good to have at least 10 contributed articles in SCI indexed journals. Patents and book chapters would be an added advantage. Nevertheless, a good post doc position is not always guaranteed considering tremendous competition in reputed universities and research labs across the globe. One should keep on searching until a position is obtained. If the PhD supervisor is internationally reputed and have international collaboration, it may open a door with minimum difficulty and time.
I think it is about your research area and the scientific competencies you have along with few good publications. Try to have preprints, so that you can show about your upcoming publications.
Intersting answers but anyhow it varies from university to university also it varies from lab to lab requirements , so most of the time you have consider first these requirement it will be best to judge yourself for the postdoc.
Am searching for a post doctor position 6 months ago, more than 500 mails were sent across the world. unfortunately, i didn't get any acceptance till now due to lack of publications. From my humble knowledge, publications as a major factor for consideration is not correct, may be the researcher is competent, but he do not have sufficient tools to conduct publications particularly in third world countries.
This question shows a perverse side of science. The quality should be measured by impact, not by quantity. Publishing becomes a game, unfortunately.
That's a really interesting question. What paper can be considered as a good one to get accepted to a good post doc position?
