Hello, i want to find out what the temperature dependency of the heat capacity of lithium ion batteries is. I found a good paper about that: Article A study on specific heat capacities of Li-ion cell component...
but only for a small temperature range and i need to find out what happens with the heat capacity at higher temeratures, like 500°C. For that, i found that there is a good aproximation for the maximum heat capacity of solids with the Dulong-Petit-Approximation, but i do not really know the molar masses of the active materials. Can someone help please?
Based on my readings shown below: As the cell/internal temperature increases/decreases due to charge(or discharge) heat losses and ambient temperature variations, the output voltage and capacity also increase/decrease

Thank you very much, but i am not interested in the electrical behaviour of the battery at all, just the specific heat capacities at high temperatures are of interest, the data is needed for a thermal runaway simulation, i think with the molar masses of the solide components of the battery i can calculate a maximum heat capacity of the cell but i still need some help to identify the corresponding temperatures or better, the function cp(T) of the cell. In the paper i mentioned i found that the gradient of cp(T) is arround 2 J/(g*K^2) fo lithium ion energy cells but this is only valid in the studied temperature range of 0 to 60°C, before thermal runaway the cell reaches 200°C and at TR above 500°C, it would be nice to have some data for cp in this range or to estimate the values based on formulas.

It surely depends on the form of the cell and the chemistry (NCA, NMC, LFP, LTO...), there are plenty of models and studies regarding the thermal behavior of batteries.
