Is my assumption that the joint dilation angle for the Area/Residual Coulomb slip criterion in UDEC7.0 is dependent on the difference between apparent friction angle (determined by the current shear stress and normal stress) and the residual friction angle correct? In that sense, is the dilation angle a variable factor in the calculation? The properties of the models do not consider the dilation angle as an input.
