During migration, how informal institutions get migrated? The social norms that prevail in rural areas usually transformed into urban norms but perhaps it could be the case that they sustain even after being migrated to the urban area.
Following the respective literature (e.g. Williamson, North), informal institutions change only very slowly, so it is hard to include it in analyses that have only a limited data base (time line). One indicator may be if we observe integration of people (in educational systems, if they live in seggregated areas after migration, language skills, pertained religious habits), but all of these potential indicators have some weaknesses...
