water. Then adding and recording the required amount of water to make the solution reach 1000 ml. In this experimental study, the amount

of water required to prepare 1000 ml of 16 molars NaOH solution was 755 ml to 640 g of NaOH flakes.

Why did you suppose alkalinity ratio Na2SiO3/NaOH = 1 to 2.5? Please based on what?
