In Most of the Universities, Institutions, Colleges Grading System is adopted for evaluation of the students achievement. This also creates grades. The significant point is that The Grades provided in particular Course is not independent, but based on the marks obtained in totality of Internal and External exams. A small difference in marks (like 79 & 80 ) creates more difference in the grades. Another Issue is that that grades are multiplied with credit and CGPA is calculated. A small difference in CGPA affects similar to small difference in percentage. then what is the speciality of Grading System?, for which it is being preferred by all?

I am not sure I understand your question, but I will try to answer. There is no other way to evaluate students' work/ knowledge, but to set limits between different grades. I try to solve the issue of "one missing point" for a better grade by fiving students the opportunity to collect dome extra points for classrom activity, participation in project or similar. Of course, they have to do it during semester and not after they find out they miss one point for a better grade.

In many educational institution of India, Marking System is fallowed i.e. if there are 20 courses in a program, 20*100 or 20*50 or (10*100 +10*50) or any other marks are taken as maximum marks and obtained raw score represent their score and their corresponding percentage is taken into consideration,
here my problem is that how grade scores are more reliable than raw scores or percentage?
