I will suggest you to go through following article for biomass prediction... But basic is You should use a regression model developed by both ground truth data and satellite based measurement. The attached article is just to understand how you can use satellite data.

You are able to do with remote sensing (NDVI) or with help of internationally accepted biomass equation for your region .i.e., Sandra Brown,1989 etc.

... An important preparatory step in order to identify the methods more suitable for biomass prediction is to clearly define what is the type of 'biomass' that one wants to estimate. As commonly known, forest biomass is formed by many different parts of plants and therefore your investigation may need to identify both the aims of the prediction and the kind of biomass (woody? trunk? crown? rooths? ....). This would strongly help to select the parameters, measures, tools, and procedures needed to have a good approximation of the models. In all cases, any model that one can develop needs to be verified by comparing measured results versus predicted results.
You can make biomass prediction equations yr self doing distructive sampling techinques, or existing bio-prediction equation( Brown,1989) to yr region,you may adapted top dowm approach using remote senceings calculating photosynthetic rate with calculating of NDVI?
