What is written as poetry-or religious belief-doesn't have much relation to the quantitative description of nature. They're interested in different things.

Religious beliefs are the results of first person experience of sages, seers, prophets, messenger of God, Incarnations and Saints.

We are just making hypothesis, speculating the things after reading books and do experimentations.
