what are the appropreate questions that should be asked to understand university-industry partnership in:
developed countries and
developing countries.
Shall they include infrastructural, financial, micro-macro economic aspects and trust or even social capital concepts?

There are diminishing returns to such research. The profits almost never match the expenses and few schools can show any befits in terms of expenses incurred. This is partly because the research areas that are being explored are rarely commercially viable. THE amount of productivity gain does not match the expenses. Tis is a general trend n scientific research. The low hanging fruit has been consumed. Th costs of future keystone scientific exploration may exceed the returns.
Look after studies of the Bologna process for the developed countries (in Europe).
