his isn't the generation of pranam or good morning. Those days are long gone. This is a gen Y; it greets with a Hi! You get to hear all this and more from people with varied sensibilities. Come to think of it, yes there are changes and I believe a good number of them are very positive changes. From the absolute and mum surveillance, we've moved on to more rational and questioning atmosphere.
The modern student-teacher relationship is not defined by obedience and acceptance, but by questioning and analysis, acceptance may or may not follow. The relationship is of understanding each other's requirements and coming to terms with each other's expectations.

The level and nature of the relationship between the student and the teacher varies
According to the cultural level and level of awareness enjoyed by both parties
Also the level of mental maturity of the community must be very high
In all cases because it will effect this relationship, the relationship between the student and the teacher should not exceed the level of privacy, Otherwise, it will become a double-edged sword.

Now a days do we have the same relationship between teacher and students as it was earlier or has changed?
Studen - Teacher relationship is completely changing nowadays. Everything has become a business now. I heard that there are some teachers who will give tutions in house and for the students who come to them for tutions or go to their friends for tutions will be given more marks. Then naturally student will not have that much respect to that teacher. Nowadays even teachers dressing is also making much difference. Students are commenting teachers. So, I feel teacher profession is such a respectable profession, so the dressing also should be in a respectable manner. By saying such if I have hurt anybody I feel sorry for that. This is just my feeling.
