How do you create the strain rate in triaxial test with Plaxis3d?

Dear all.

I would like to determine the effect of strain rate in undrained triaxial test with Plaxis3d. so I would like to know how to create strain rate 10e-5 per second in Plaxis, is it possible to do in this case?

Nice to read your question....yes it is possible, in general, PLAXIS you could do analysis in two ways 1. Force based and 2. Displacement based. Also, analysis can be performed by applying incremental force or displacement in terms of number of load steps or time respectively. so you fix time and estimate the magnitude of displacement to be applied per minutes. you aware strain is a gradient of displacement so it is possible to perform strain rate in triaxial test using PLAXIS3D. okay all the best.
