Recently I have gone through some papers which are related to polymer nano-composites. They proved that the dielectric constant of the composite is enhanced compared to pure polymer. This may be due to increase in the dipole polarization and increase in the inter-facial polarization. I want to know how to quantify these contributions?
I request somebody to give answer or what is the difficulty in it?
There are several models that can be used to predict interfacial polarization. For example see my enclosed publication.
These are continuum models, which may fail if serious agglomeration occurs. (The latter can be taken into account if a distribution of the shape factors is assumed)
If you look at my other publcations from the 1980's and 1990's you will find several examples where I tried to identify and/or to simulate interfacial polarization effects in polymer compostes.
