This question is about illegal immigration. Illegal means that it is against the law.

The question is not about immigration in general. If one believes in the rule of law, it seems that one should prefer legal immigration over illegal immigration.

One idea is to make illegal immigration more difficult and less friendly. The problem with this approach is that some people complain about the inhumane treatment.

However, there is a HUGE paradox and inconsistency. If we make it easier and more friendly, how do we achieve our original objective? If it is easier and more friendly, it simply means that more people will be attracted, and we do not make any progress towards our goal.
