I use an IC-method with UV detection because I have samples with high chloride amount app6g/L.

I get a negative dip before the NO2- peak and a peak that is higher than normal in these samples.

Did test with MilliQ water and salt and had a negative dip with an NO2- peak even that I didn't put anything in it.

How can I avoid this?

My column is an AS14 column with guard from Thermo.

I can use AG cartridges from Thermo but this is not allowed.

Can someone give me some tips?
