in the course of learning feature extraction methods and signal processing using IMS Bearing Data set from the Prognostics Data Repository hosted by NASA

by the Center of Intelligent Maintenance Systems (IMS), of University of Cincinnati; how do i process such an amount of data and more specifically, i need to plot an RMS curve to show degradation behavior of bearing_3. i have been trying around Matlab and R but cant get my way around it

Having gone through the website, it appears the Mathworks link was quite resourceful, however, the IMS data-set clearly requires more technical ability to
1) analyse the whole data set
2) apply some de-noising/ filtering
3) prognostics (depending on the algorithm of choice)
i tried to analyse the last 500 measurement points and came up with an RMS plot that shows a degradation trend of bearing_3. however, continuing with my choice of prognostics seems hard to initiate owing to my limited knowledge and resources for implementing Guassian Process Regression (GPR).
is there some kind of algorithm bank, tutorial etc with practical steps/guide to implement this algorithm?
