How do I measure activation overpotential of the catalyst modified glassy carbon electrode?

I am measuring the activation over potential of the MoS2 modified glassy carbon electrode towards Hydrogen evolution reaction. For this purpose, I am using the standard formula that is activation overpotential = potential applied - equilibrium potential. How do I measure the equilibrium potential of the MoS2 modified GC ?
