Hi Racheal,

You can prepare a solution using approximately wt. 7% polymer. You can try 6% or 8% depending on the situation. You should dissolve the polymer in pure water by adding it slowly. If you mix overnight, you can get a homogeneous solution.

Dissolve 5 % by weight of poly (ethylene oxide) in deionized water. In order to obtain a homogeneous solution, magnetic stirring for at least 12 hours at room temperature is necessary before being inserted into the syringe for electrospinning.
