first basic need for this is thought and area of interest of students and if we know area of interest then we achieve 50% of our target then after we guide the to students how they reaches to its target though different ways.
Try a session on scenario planning - at least 25 years out. Ask them to use two major trends from an environment scan - preferably those they consider influential but unknowable - and plot them on two spectra axes, producing four scenarios at the extremes of the spectra. They can then have fun brainstorming what it would be like to live, work etc in each of these worlds, which they can name. Most important is that they identify 'where are we now' and what would signpost the direction of travel as time moves forward.
Follow the inquiry based learning approach and be abreast of recent trend in the respective field. Align the ideas of students with emerging trends and put them in a situation where they do the brainstorming and evaluate thebproblems in the light of modern day challenges.
