I have the raw data of cured epoxy composite samples which had undergone a DSC test. However, from my findings from the literature, I seem not to have the right information such as heat of reaction of the uncured epoxy needed to calculate the degree of cure of the epoxy composite.

The heat of reaction of partially cured epoxy samples is just the integral of the heat flow curve over temperature (or time). You can define a relative degree of transformation, which describes the curing process under DSC test conditions (heating rate, isothermal), in this case, you divide the partial integral of heat flow by the heat reaction, calculated previously. Your DSC usually provides these basic calculations.

Without the total heat of reaction you can not calculate the degree of cure.
As the total heat of reaction varies strongly depending on the resin system and possible fillers an estimation based on literature data may have a high failure.
