To first order, you could measure pH of water-activated geopolymer of known proportions and assume all [OH]- goes into solution and comes from the sodium hydroxide. This might provide a good starting point.

your idea of geopolymerization unfortunately is wrong.

Geopolymerization is completely different process compared to Alkali Activated Materials AAM.

GP are mineral polymers, organized, stable at every conditions and can be obtained following a precise mix design and precise procedures.

AAM are Portland-like materials so hydrate minerals but very less stable than Portland based products, specially under water immersion.

GP have covalent bonds where cations are involved about new minerals creations (Alkalis are part of GP matrix).

AAM use alkalis as glue to keep all together, so cations are outside the hydrate minerals so if immersed can be leached out (sodium is very soluble) or can migrate to surface even if cured by air, following evaporation channels and generate efflorescence (sodium carbonate) reacting with CO2 from air.

Check my suggestions at www.geopolymer.org the site of Geopolymer Institute, where Prof. Davidovits (Who coined the name Geopolymer and created all the specific terminology of this technology) wrote a scientific paper and registered also 4 videos that explain all differences between them and in particular why AAM aren’t GP (you can see and download for free).

I think it’s mandatory for your thesis that you know the fundamentals of both technologies to avoid writing big scientific mistakes.

Search the work about Prof. Glukovsky from Ukraine/Soviet Union to understand better what is instead an AAM.

AAM can be done one part, but check about the stability (won’t be easy to find, specially when in presence of humidity or under water); while GP cannot exists one part, because the reaction needs different procedure, specially if you need to industrialize (only 2 parts, that ,technically called precursor and reagent or hardener, when mixed properly generate a genuine Geopolyme binder).
