LSS might work or not depending on many other factors that are unique to the company. Although data is important, sometimes OEE will help to better understand a rather larger variety of factors. OEE is not part of LSS therefore it is less used in org. https://www.oee.com/calculating-oee.html

You might want if you can, introduce OEE first and then assign LSS projects as needed
