Dear All,

Hope you are well and happy.

As you may know, the Hawaii Island is the most recent island of the Hawaiian Islands. Many researchers point out that most of the creatures of the island are endemic to the Hawaii Island, however, the geological data indicates that it was formed during 0.4 Ma. Considering the age and evolution of the fauna and flora, how it is possible all the creatures evolve so fast compared to biological evolution occurred in other continents. I mean the time period in terms of geobiology is very short for evolution of such complete creatures.

If they were migrated to the Hawaii island, after emergence of the island, from the nearby island such as Maui Island, then why they are so different?

All the best,

Keyvan
