how can i copy a process from ecoinvent database to my project? I want to change the input of a process and not change the main database, that is why I want to copy it;
is it possible?
Navigate to the process you would like in the project you're in, click on it and then go under “Edit” and choose “Copy Tree.” This will copy the process and any project specific processes underlying in it, to the project you have open.
or, a bit more detailed:
Then the process(es) are copied to the new project !To copy a process from one project to a different project:Open the SimaPro project to which you want to import the process. Click the Show data of all projects button in the toolbar. The data of all projects you have the right to view are now shown. Select the process(es) you want to copy. (Tip! Hold the CTRL key for selection of multiple processes. You can select data from different categories). Go to Edit, select the option Copy tree. SimaPro will copy the selected data, including the upstream processes of your current project.
Peter Faber thank you , so i understood i ca not copy directly,if i for example switch from the project that i created and it is empty to the rail/ transformation and choose the process and them go to edit/copy tree , is this process will be copied in my project?
