I want to detect faults occuring due to failure of nodes due to depletion oof energy. The node can be cluster node or it can be cluster head.

Also if a cluster head gets dead, dynamic clustering should recover the network by selecting a new cluster head from the nodes available within the cluster.

I have already read these papers.

Can you please help me to know from where I have to start in ns2 for the abovesaid target.

Rite now what I have learned till now is using mannasim framework for simulating WSN and understood the layout of .tr file generated by TCL files of mannasim.

I dont know whether m going in rite direction or not?

I dont know how I'll be able to detect faults in WSN in an energy efficient manner?

Can you please help to clear my doubts...........

There should be way to detect failures in node and I have did failure detection in wsn using zigBee nodes but with my own designed software architecture. So, I think you are in right direction.
