Cloud computing and communication could assist in many ways in disaster situations. one way is to design database about the projects using sensors and parameters to be processed to get drought information. Results then saved and could be made available to access to other researchers using cloud computing. Satellite technology and GIS is then mapped to that database to define the tends of drought and predict its behavior.

The ways to make use of technology is open to many techniques.
