Teaching facilities are provided by all government around the world and we are not enough qualified to counteract it. Yet, many improvements could be done.
Government schools are not enough well equipped in response to the disabled. And it a far vision of having normal student with those of the disabled in same class, but do not get me wrong. Student are primary age are tended to commit bullying; they are unable to respond a mature thinking and this cannot also be expected from the,..
Teaching Facility cannot be provided in a school for both enable and the disabled. Teachers are not trained for both type of students, there is need for special teacher and handicapped school are better for the disabled.
A child can go at a school for handicapped till the age of 12 max. and then can proceed with normal students. Government should provide a such system. In the early ages, children will be able to have friends who can understand them, teachers whp promote their education along with taking care of them; these children can thus better prepare themselves mentally to confront the outer world.
At a secondary level, they will be able to cope and keep on climbing the ladder of success as a normal student.
The government thus need to restructure the educational system to be inclusive through trying the different options provided.
I hope i did not go ashtray, but out of an experienced through a workshop of promoting disabled education in Mauritius, this response was advocated.. :)
Good research topic,to strengthen the teaching facility , we have to strengthen the pillars ie the teachers, we should provide adequate and latest teaching aids, education and training to the teachers , teachers should have available modules for the disabled teachers, and if possible teachers should be made specialized in that area.
Special teaching modules are available online. involvement of parents too can help both, students and teachers.
