In the given figure, downward is related to endo, so these peaks could be related to melting as melting is an endothermic process. For the DSC interpretation, u can check the following article. hope it will help u.
Dear Rahmathulla Mohamed Nikzaad , in your figure there are two endothermic events which could be due to melting or mass loss. Compare your DSC data with TGA data. You can get a clear picture of all events and correlate with each other.
Rahmathulla Mohamed Nikzaad Since you mentioned that you prepared filaments containing 2 components then the two melting endotherms can be for the individual components.
Additionally you can also calculate crystallinity from the melting peaks by taking the area under the curve (delta Hm) and substituting it in the formula:
Xc (%) = [delta Hm / ((1-w) * Hm)] x 100
Hm = value from literature for specific material (at 100% crystallinity)
Akash Kumar Sahu in my research i didn't get any report regarding TGA. but i have collect XRD report, could you mention how can we move to precise results using both DSC and XRD
Rahmathulla Mohamed Nikzaad, I would like to help you to get your precise outcome, but need a bit more information, what exactly your approach. In case of anything feel free to contact me.
