Suppose I have two Nano-electrodes made of a certain material (say gold and Platinum). I wanted to find out some properties like amount of current flow between them when in an electrolyte medium.
What will be effect of surface area and size of the nano-electrodes on its amount of electron transfer?
you can find this out by making a series of them of different sizes (e.g. by photolithography) and measure the I-V characteristic of each of them!
