Could you please elaborate your question. I work with both vocational education and change. Do you know the books: «The Planning of change» (Bennis, Benne & Chin 1961) and «The Dynamics of Change» (Lippit, Watson & Westley 1958)? I am aware that these books might seem ancient and that these books have both been printed in revised editions, but the key here is that in these «old» text can follow basic and pioneer thinking and development in this field that might be relevant for your project. I am also an action researcher and like to study vocational education and training through change. Sally Kah
Thank you for your comment Kjartan. Yes, I came across The Dynamics of Change'. An informative start for research in this area.
I am working on a project on Vocational Education and Training with a specific focus on women's initiative in a developing economy. My intention is to demonstrate the impact of VET on the young women. It is not on behalf of the organisation, rather an examination of existing VET and if they are effective to address high non-literacy in young girls and women in a developing economy.
I think theory of change will help to identify the change process from the interventions right through to impact. I just wondered if anyone has an idea of 'how' it could be done from an empirical standpoint.
