Digital Reinterpretation: Modern digital communication can exacerbate these feelings of superficial connection, particularly in the context of social media. People may find themselves in echo chambers, surrounded by content that reinforces their existing beliefs but never challenging them to engage in meaningful dialogue or real-world connection. This kind of social media "connectivity" can heighten feelings of alienation as individuals may feel disconnected from reality, experiencing a hollow or distorted version of the world through their screens.
