How can prevent or control efflorescence issues related geopolymer concrete? In this regard; are there any threshold (or optimum) values for concentration (or proportions) of alkaline solutions to be used for making geopolymers?

Thank you Mohamed for the valuable question and many thanks to Kundan for the valuable research article. I'd like to add that when taking about geopolymer concrete we should be more specific in determining what we need to know, as the performance realy differs in regard to the base materials (i.e; slag, fly ash type C , or fly ash type F,...), the activator modulus and constituent, and the curing conditions as well. These really differs and there is not one answer that covers all geopolymer concrete types . Any way many thanks again.

Using alternative lower alkali activators can prevent efflorescence. In addition, moist curing can also be employed.
