The four column statement is done by mistake. I have to draw 2 separate plots for that purpose; i.e; one plot with 1st two columns with the 3 rd one and another one with 1 st two columns with the 4th one..
I didn't try for gnuplot>setpm3d map,
but using splot .... 1:2:3; its become a 3d contour.
Sorry for the delay. In my previous query what I was wanted to know is that I have to put the names of elements along x & y axes as say A , B, C, D, ... & A, B, C, D, ...respectively. It may be considered that for your map you have to insert some alphabets just below the numerical 0 2 4 6 ... along x axis while left side of y axis.
Another thing is that for generating large data, I am facing problems while preparing a script. If possible will you please attach the script you have used.
I tried to plot a new graph using your data in test.dat file and those command provided in test.gn, but it writes as "No usable data in this plot to auto-scale axis range
I want to plot a 2D contour in gnuplot using the following data attached below. I used the " set pm3d map" command and xrange & yrange to calibrate the scales but a cheker-board-like map is coming (attached herewith). Actually, I want a smooth graph. Can you please help me in this regard ?
I am trying to fit these data with xmgrace attached below and trying to have an equation from my data. But I am unable. Both the data file and xmgrace plot are attached herewith.
Will you please help me in this regard? You can use both xmgrace or gnuplot. Thanking you in advance.
