How can I validate that I am measuring the proper moisture content in dielectric by using EIS technique?

I am measuring the impedance/ capacitance of the dielectric materials (in order to detect the moisture) by impedance spectroscopy, how can I ascertain that I am measuring the moisture content of the material and not detecting other properties?
