Fly ash has maximum amount of silica in its chemical composition. It can be reused in agricultural sector as well. The chemical composition of fly ash specially silica is Bituminous(20-60),Subbituminous(40-60),Lignite(15-45). as respectively. I am using all types of fly ash for my research work and now I need the chemical experimental work to replacement to microsilica in fly ash.

If you want to extract silica from fly ash its very complex and uneconomical , small amount of silica can be extracted with potassium hydroxide, But silica is not free ,its is in aluminosilicate iron complex.
