MY synthesized MCU is Polymeric MDI and Combination of grades of MDI based prepolymer.
Currently i got the Open time nearly 1hr and full cure time 3-4hr.
How can i reduce this time to 30 minutes open time and full cure in 2 hrs.
Note: 1. formulation has done according to standard methodology,
2. There were no use of any additional additives
3. Used Polyols were from poyether based
4.NCO% 14 or 16%

Any suggested particular accelerator or catalyst. Also should i used at the time of reaction or at the end of reaction.

Most effective catalyst for the MDI/water reaction is DMDEE (as Giacomo already mentioned), but be aware that a strong catalyst also leads to a fast CO2 formation, maybe it can not release by diffusion and you may get foam formation. DBTL and DABCO are more gel catalysts (more effective in catalyzation of NCO/polyol reaction), but hey may also work, but be aware of their toxicity .Br Hans
