Do you need a liquid component or gel / solid one? Which kind of application? You can prepare it in different ways with different devices, complex or simple..... the easiest and cheaper way to obtain PRF (platelet rich fibrin) is to form a clot in a simple empty tube (without anticoagulant) with the Choukroun's protocol (A-PRF). In this way you can obtain a little membrane made of fibrin, platelet and leuccytes, suturable. (Slow centrifuge - 2700 RPM - for 12 min.)
If you need a liquid platelet rich plasma (to inject) you need a different device and protocol to follow......
I can recommend a special device, which is offered by Arthrex. I use this system in my office for my patients. It works very properly using a double syringe and a centrifuge, which is provided by the company. The negative aspect ist the price per syringe, wich is quite high (approx.60 Euro).
I would recommend to inform you on their homepage!
