Hello Behzad,

It is very difficult to mesh the concrete cylinder as per given picture as you have to create many keypoints to get the require mesh size. Also, near the center of the cylinder the element is triangular in shape which may give warning for SOLID65 element. Better you can model quarter of the cylinder using keypoint, lines and arc then reflex the quarter cylinder to full cylinder which will provide you option for map meshing using hexa elements. I have attached a scripts file done in ANSYS 14.0 APDL for your references.

can you give me idea for meshing attached picture?in this picture the central square component is exist and made by direct modeling. how can i meshing with solid65 for partial circle section?

Dear Behzad,

By modeling the quarter part of the whole model and reflecting to get the complete model. Then select the line size for each line using box option and mapped mesh it.
