Dear Maher, thank you for asking this interesting technical question. My suggestion is to start your search right here on ResearchGate. I think this is the best platform to search and find researchers who are working in closely related areas. For example, you could search the "Jobs" section for open postdoctoral fellow positions. Moreover, you can search for research topics which are familiar to you and which you are interested in. Then click on "Researchers". This will provide you with a long list of scientists working in the same discipline as you. Once you found interesting researchers, you can send them a message directly via RG. Thus I strongly suggest to just stay on RG and start your search.

In addition to Prof. Frank's suggestion, I also suggest searching through Google Scholar. You can search according to the keywords of the research field, once you click on the appropriate keyword, all scientists of the selected field will be listed, you can browse the list and choose the appropriate researcher, then communicate with him/her via e-mail in his published research.

if you have access to a professional database like SciFinder or Medline, you can search for research topics and researchers.

In addition to the suggestions by Frank and Mabrook, I suggest to check for review articles (only experts in the field write them) and check if these authors have many contributions in this field. If not they might only be Co-authors.
