How can I get the 802.11p MAC layer code implementation probably in MATLAB or otherwise?

I'm working on MAC layer of 802.11p hoping to replace its FCS with forward error correction mechanism (Reed-Solomon Code) to ensure reliable communication. Essentially, wanting to make the frame a control frame without any data. Can you help on the way forward?

I want the control frame to send warning alert and should in case errors occur during transmission over the wireless channel the errors in the packets should be detected and corrected.

Veins contains an implementation of IEEE 802.11p and WAVE, it is a simulation framework for vehicular networks. It combines OmNET++ for event simulation and SUMO for traffic simulation.
