I have Imported source file and using it for simulation. Some structure is there around it and after reflection from the target, the some rays comes back towards the source. How can I know what is the E-Field Value of them at source and from which direction they have come. I have monitored the E-Field on plane but it gives me just the strength of field but not the indication form where it had come.?
When the rays are emitted from source, CST keep track of locations of each rays, Thus for each rays, it keeps the points information where they undergo reflection or refraction and their corresponding E-Field values.
You will observe, the strength decreases as the rays travels based of GTD (refer B. Keller paper).
Thus, I have observed the rays on the receiver plane, and found the strength and direction by equation of line form the point where it hits the plane surface and just previous location form CST file.
