Hello Dear

I am not sure if I can help you with shapefile but I can tell you that I doubt that there is real homogeneous rainfall regions as shown in your picture (I consider too simple view of mind). With monsoon and largely variable orography there, combined with climate change the patterns of rain in India are becoming difficult to predict.

I did part of my M.Sc thesis long time ago on the subject of orographic rainfall (see attach below).

Also i am including more realistic rainfall zones (see picture).
